Bolivian-Japanese Institute of Gastroenterology (I.G.B.J.)

The IGBJ is headquarters of the Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Training Center WGO/JICA since 2005 and it is constituted in the Institution that runs the international programs of training.

The IGBJ is the result of the health cooperation that the Japan government lend to Bolivia. It is a public Institution as well as university with 28 years of assistance, investigative and educational activity, in pre levels, graduate and postgraduate degree. 

The IGBJ is equipped with high technology for attention of digestive illnesses, with advanced development of technical diagnosis and treatment, and endowed with appropriate infrastructure for the development of training programs. 

It has integrated services of medical clinic, surgery, pathology, diagnostic radiology and interventionist, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies, diagnostic ecography and interventionist, ultrasound endoscopies, motility and pHmetría.
